HTC Hermes will be launced on o2

We got some news on the HTC Hermes today – the replacement for the highly popular HTC wizard. o2 have confirmed that they will carry the phone and it will be known as the XDA Trion. Not content with simply branding the handset o2 have also surprised us and decided to go with a 400MHz processor from Samsung instead of the 300 MHz processor mentioned by other operators and distributors! Retractable QWERTY keyboard – very good although not usable one handed.
Powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition with AKU2/MSFP (i.e. with push email on board).
Cellular: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA.
2 cameras: in the front QCIF camera for video calling and on the back a 2.0 megapixel camera for snapping your girlfriend naked taking photos.

Expected date of commercial availability: July 2006.
Pricing: Not announced.
