Well it doesn’t look too good at the moment. It seems that in less than 24 hours, people have started reporting that the paint job on their black Macbooks is flaking. The argument is, why are people paying $200 more for a paint job that can’t even stand a day.
We don’t know if this is an isolated incident (bad batch) or if these people are simply scratching away with their nails, however something tells us that Apple will be quick to defend themselves by dismissing this issue.
People shouldn’t worry about this with their white Macbooks though since the white ones have a glossy layer whereas the black is simply matt. Just another reason why it’s better to wait a few days before jumping on the Apple bus.
